about

the DIAGNOSIS

I have thrived with Type 1 Diabetes (T1D) since I was little.

I have a twin-sister who does not have it and have never liked being identified by it, hence this whole "undefined" stuff.

I am a hopeful storyteller; a creative + "big picture thinker," because I have faced daily adversity my entire life.

the DETERMINATION

I am an advocate for myself + others by pushing down walls that limit our ability to thrive- be it, as daughters, sons, sisters, brothers, wives, husbands, mothers, fathers, friends, caretakers, givers + driven, motivated, passionate individuals trying to make a positive difference in the world. Nothing should prevent us from doing good work.

the drive
THE DIFFERENCE

My career and background combines my passion for advancing research and healthcare accessibility + affordability with meeting people and patients where they are. I am motivated to connect with people and create things that make the world a better place.

My academic background (MSPH onto DrPH) rests in public health, where my interests are rooted in how behavioral health implications & policy influence spending and economic waste within our US healthcare system.

Given this interest, and the impact that clinical research and treatments drive costs, I began my career in clinical research operations, prior to moving into biz dev. Here, in biz dev, I've been able to flourish because of the opportunity to innovate within clinical trial design to raise patient voices, based on my clinical trial participation experience, with biopharma companies and investigators.

Based on the combination of personal experiences, interests and academic research, I have recently collaborated to define an unmet need in our health system, and co-found a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization to take charge of it (and partner with other pharma, non-profits and industry sponsors to co-create solutions and be change agents).

Our Odyssey is an exclusive experience that uniquely positions young adults impacted by chronic and rare conditions (and our healthcare systems) for greater livelihoods by way of connectivity with other young adults, providers, tools and resources.

I am equally thrilled for the opportunity that I've had to join the Seeker Health team at EVERSANA. My scope here is to expand the business reach, with my focus primarily in clinical, though supporting commercial efforts in patient insights. I'excited to innovate and collaborate across the healthcare industry with movers + shakers who know our WHY...and to show those who don't know it, how to create it.

THE CALLING

...at the end of the day, it's not about me.

it's, actually, not about you either.

it's about WHO uses our stories, experiences & connections for goodness, grace & LOVE.
